As a Teacher, your primary responsibility will be to develop and deliver lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards. You will assess and evaluate student progress to ensure they are meeting the learning objectives set for them. Creating a positive and engaging learning environment is crucial to encourage student participation and inquiry. Providing timely feedback to students and their parents/guardians regarding their progress in the class is essential for their academic growth. Collaboration with other teachers and staff is encouraged to create interdisciplinary lessons and activities that enhance the overall learning experience. It is important to stay current on scientific research and developments in the field to incorporate new knowledge into lessons and keep the curriculum up-to-date. Participation in professional development opportunities is expected to continually improve teaching skills and knowledge.
