General Physician

Required Part time MD Physician for 9 am to 1 pm (mon- sat)

JD:

1. Conduct thorough pre-operative medical evaluations for patients scheduled for ophthalmic surgeries.

2. Identify, assess, and manage systemic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, cardiac issues) that may impact eye health or surgical fitness.

3. Provide treatment and guidance for general medical complaints of patients visiting the hospital.

4. Work closely with ophthalmologists, anaesthetists, and other specialists to ensure patients are medically fit for procedures.

5. Liaise with the surgical and nursing teams for intra-operative or post-operative medical support when required.

6. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and NABH standards.

7. Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, medication compliance, and systemic disease management to support ocular health.

8. Provide medical guidance to patients with chronic systemic illnesses.

9. Attend to any medical emergencies arising in the OPD, IPD, or OT premises.

10. Stabilize patients and coordinate referrals to higher centers if necessary.

EXPERIENCE - Preferred candidates with 8 to 10 years of experience in Hospitals.

Qualification - MD General Medicine.

Computer knowledge is must.
