Job Description

Job Title: Project Head - General Manager

Lead the overall execution of water pipeline projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Develop and implement project execution strategies and plans in alignment with company goals.
Oversee procurement, resource allocation, and logistics to optimize project delivery.
Liaise with clients, government bodies, consultants, and other stakeholders to maintain effective communication and strong relationships.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on project status, challenges, and financials.
Lead contract negotiations and manage vendor and subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
Minimum 20-25 years of experience in infrastructure project management, with at least 8 years in water pipeline project execution.
Proven track record in managing large-scale water pipeline projects (design, construction, commissioning).
Strong knowledge of pipeline materials, construction techniques, trenching, jointing, testing, and commissioning.
Experience in handling regulatory approvals, environmental clearances, and safety protocols.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
