As the General Manager at Graphite India Ltd (GIL), you will be leading a key New Venture initiative focused on developing a commercially viable business around a new material-based technology. Your role will involve shaping the venture's strategic direction, scaling production, and driving early market adoption. This position requires a unique blend of expertise in technology, business development, and operations within the industrial sector. Key Responsibilities: - Shape the strategic direction of the new venture - Scale production processes effectively - Drive early market adoption of the new technology - Translate R&D efforts into a profitable business line for GIL Qualifications: - 10-20 years of experience in chemical, materials, or process-based industries - Proven track record of commercializing new technologies or establishing new business lines - Strong understanding of process engineering, business strategy, and industrial operations - Ability to work autonomously, make pragmatic decisions, and deliver tangible results - Willingness to be based in Nasik and travel extensively - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for internal and external engagements Graphite India (GIL) is a pioneer in Carbon and Graphite products in India, with a significant presence in various industries such as Impervious Graphite Equipment, Graphite Specialty Products, High-Speed Steel, and renewable energy solutions.
