Vacancy with the largest manufacturer of Bulk Conveying Chains and Accessories in India established in the year 1978 and having exports to over 35 countries around the world, including EU & US. The Product range includes Bucket Elevator Chains, Reclaimer Chains, Deep Pan Conveyor Chains, Drag Chains as well as Customized Chains, precisely designed and made as per the peculiar conveying applications. Job Location: Raipur Role:Department: - Heat Treatment ( Pit type carburizing furnaces) Education:-Diploma/BE in Metallurgical Engineer Experience- 10-12 years in Heat Treatment of Steel Roles & Responsibility:- 1. Monitoring of various heat treatment processes like –carburizing, Volume Hardening, tempering, normalizing, Annealing, induction hardening and quenching. Maintaining process and output parameters like temperature. Cycle time bath concentration and hardness, strength, micro structure etc. Guiding operators and Technicians to complete the assigned task. Maintaining records related to production, rejection, material movement & manpower productivity for the shifts. Must be familiar with different types of furnaces and process nuances for each type of heat treatment process. Basic knowledge of metallurgical properties of material.Must be familiar with various methods used in inspection of finished goods. Must follow safety norms & house keeping norms of the Heat Treatment Department. Planning and execution of planning as per schedule requirement. Preventive maintenance to be done of equipment to keep it in good condition to operate. Must have knowledge of loading & unloading of material in a furnace. Must have knowledge of Excel, Scada & Data Logger. Perform other duties as discuses by management Safety & cleanliness parameter to be followed.
