This is a full-time on-site role for a General Dentist at Smile Dental Care Clinic located in Ludhiana. The General Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing routine dental check-ups and cleanings, and developing customized treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities also include educating patients on oral health practices, managing dental emergencies, and collaborating with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The role requires adherence to infection control protocols and maintaining accurate patient records.

Qualifications

Strong proficiency in diagnosing and treating a variety of dental conditions, performing procedures like restorative dentistry, extractions, and preventative care.
Skill in patient communication, including educating patients on oral hygiene and explaining treatment plans clearly and effectively.
Knowledge of infection control standards and maintaining sterilization protocols.
Ability to manage dental tools and technology, including experience with X-ray equipment, dental software, and other instruments used during dental procedures.
Bachelor's degree in Dentistry (BDS) or equivalent; a Master's degree in a dental specialization (MDS) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Valid license to practice dentistry in the respective region.
Compassionate approach to patient care and strong focus on detail and precision in dental procedures.
Prior relevant clinical experience in general dentistry is preferred.
