GenAI (Generative AI) Tech Lead

We are looking for a hands-on GenAI Tech Lead to architect, build, and deliver production-grade GenAI solutions. This role is 70–80% hands-on engineering and 20–30% technical leadership.You will work directly with clients, lead a small GenAI team, and define GenAI engineering standards at Techno Tackle.

Experience

• 4+ years building ML-powered production systems
• 1–2+ years of hands-on Generative AI experience
• Strong ML foundation with a natural evolution into GenAI.
• This is role is not for backend engineers who recently switched to GenAI)
• This role demands engineering depth, architectural thinking, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small GenAI team; conduct code reviews and internal training.
• Write clean, production-grade Python code.
• Design and deliver production-ready GenAI systems (not PoCs)
• Architect and optimize RAG solutions (chunking, embeddings, retrieval, context optimization)
• Build AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
• Build end-to-end systems: APIs, inference pipelines, data flows, and cloud deployment
• Deploy GenAI solutions on AWS (including Bedrock); decide between API vs self-hosted models
• Use LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini), embeddings, retrievers, and vector databases
• Build rapid prototypes and automation (including tools like n8n when needed)

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Python and production engineering skills
• Solid Machine Learning fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with RAG systems
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks

Preferred Skills

• Open-source / self-hosted LLMs (LLaMA, Mistral)
• GenAI observability tools (e.g., LangSmith)
• Advanced agent workflows
• Cost optimization of LLM systems

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹12,00,000 CTC per year
