Description
As an Agentic Thinker and visionary Generative AI Subject Matter Expert (SME) at UBS in Hyderabad, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge generative AI solutions to solve complex business challenges. In this role, you will leverage large language models (LLMs), diffusion models, and other generative architectures to drive innovation and act as a technical authority for generative AI. Your responsibilities will include architecting, training, and fine-tuning generative AI models for various applications such as content generation, conversational AI, code automation, and data synthesis. Additionally, you will lead research and development initiatives to enhance model performance, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate generative AI into workflows and translate business requirements into technical specifications for generative AI use cases. Moreover, you will optimize generative models for latency, cost, and scalability, deploy models on cloud platforms and edge devices, and implement safeguards to mitigate risks such as bias and misinformation while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical AI guidelines. As part of the Mainframe & Midrange Stream team in India, you will work on Mainframe and Midrange Gen AI Journey, aligning with UBS AI elements and the Emerging Technology and Modernization Team. Your expertise should include a master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in AI/ML development with a focus on generative AI. You should have a proven track record of deploying generative AI solutions in production environments, deep expertise in generative architectures such as GPT and Transformers, proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud platforms, as well as experience with NLP tools and vector databases. Preferred skills include knowledge of multimodal AI, reinforcement learning, and familiarity with AI ethics frameworks.
