As a candidate for this position, you should possess proficient skills in CAD modeling and drafting. Your role will involve transforming concept sketches into functional models. In addition, you must have a solid understanding of mechanical components such as Pulleys, Chain drives, Belts, O-ring drives, Gear nomenclature, and Spring design. Your responsibilities will include designing packaging machines that incorporate elements such as Conveyor Belts, Pulleys, Motors, and other Static parts. You will also be required to provide support for manufacturing parts and testing the machines based on defined criteria. To excel in this role, you should have a strong foundation in design calculations and be capable of effectively communicating with manufacturing and testing engineers to comprehend their needs. Proficiency in software such as Solid Edge and AutoCAD is essential for this position. This position falls under the Design & Development department and requires a candidate with a DME/BE in Mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field. The salary range for this position will be as per industry standards.
