Summary You will be part of the core team at GE Digital Grid Software Business Driving Energy Transition for the planet by designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services for next generation Grid Software that orchestrates the 40% of the worlds power today. Has primary ownership to develop and drive action plans to accelerate issue resolution, maintain customer communication, and advocate for the customer to ensure successful implementation and operation of GE Digital software solutions. May be utilised directly on support cases where relevant. Experience managing enterprise customers in Geo Network Management or Asset Management (AM). Familiarity with Energy Management Systems (EMS), Distribution Management Systems (DMS) & DERMS Developing specialised knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within area of responsibility. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how support integrates with other areas of the organisation; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the mark Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) + with minimum 8 years of experience. Experience in GE Smallworld, Uitility Domain Experience in Install, Deploy and configure GNM Experience with database tools Experience with associated products of GNM Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc. Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI). General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle. Business Acumen: Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for custom development tasks. Understands the technology landscape, up to date on current technology trends and new technology, brings new ideas to the team.
