Conduct design validation , DFMEA , and feasibility studies to ensure manufacturability and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, and Maintenance for fixture implementation and feedback. Modify existing tooling and fixtures based on process improvements, quality issues, or production changes. Ensure all designs meet safety , ergonomic , and quality standards. Support the fabrication , installation , and commissioning of designed fixtures and workstations on the shop floor. Maintain a record of all designs, revisions, and technical documentation. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to lean manufacturing practices. Required Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering , Production Engineering , or related field. 2+ years of experience in fixture design, preferably in welding and assembly applications. Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes , GD&T , and material selection . Familiarity with welding processes (MIG/TIG/Spot) and assembly line operations . Understanding of ergonomics and safety standards for workstation design. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
