Deep knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis. Experience with underwater system design: pressure ratings, corrosion mitigation, material compatibility, sealing techniques (O-rings, epoxy, etc.). Understanding of DFMA, thermal management, and vibration/shock tolerance in mobile or field-deployed systems Manufacturing Knowledge: Exposure to CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal design, 3D printing, and composite fabrication. Experience creating manufacturing drawings and communicating with vendors/fabricators. Perform design reviews, DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) analysis, and tolerance stack-up analysis. Standards & Compliance (preferred): Familiarity with IECEx, ISO 9001, IP rating, MIL-STD standards, and marine/navy defense standards is an added advantage.
