Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive GCP DevOps Engineer . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud security. You will play a crucial role in automating infrastructure, optimizing deployment workflows, and maintaining highly available and scalable systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build , etc. Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Deployment Manager , or similar tools. Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) . Monitor system performance and ensure system reliability and availability. Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline DevOps practices. Automate cloud operations and improve deployment and rollback processes. Set up and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting with tools such as Stackdriver (Cloud Operations), Prometheus, Grafana , etc. Ensure compliance with security best practices and manage IAM roles, policies, and service accounts. Required Skills and Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering. Proven hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools , version control systems (Git), and DevOps methodologies. Experience with Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for IaC. Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred) . Scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go . Familiarity with cloud security , networking , and load balancing on GCP. Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus). Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
