Job Description

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines on the GCP.
Hands on experience on GCP services such as BigQuery, Jitterbit, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage to build efficient data processing solutions.
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data lakes.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
Build and maintain data models and schemas that support business intelligence and analytics.
Troubleshoot data quality issues and performance bottlenecks.
Stay updated on the latest data engineering trends and technologies

Nice to Have

Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
GCP certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified Professional Data Engineer) or Jitterbit certification.

Qualification and Skills Required:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
2 to 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer using cloud technologies (GCP preferable).
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and BigQuery (preferable).
Hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation, and loading using cloud-based Data Engineering services.
Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
Experience with data modeling and schema design.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external teams.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
