GCP Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop
data ingestion
,
real-time processing
, and
transformation frameworks
using open-source tools.
Work hands-on with technologies like
Kafka
,
Apache Spark (SQL, Scala, Java)
,
Python
,
Hadoop
,
Hive
, and
Airflow
.
Build and manage data pipelines using
GCP services
:
Cloud Composer
,
BigQuery
, and
DataProc
.
Operationalize open-source data analytics tools for enterprise use.
Ensure compliance with
data governance policies
through data lineage, quality checks, and classification.
Participate in
support rotations
to maintain system health and performance.
Follow the companys
SDLC
to develop, deploy, and deliver robust data solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science,
CIS
, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in
software engineering
or related IT roles.
Proven experience in projects involving
SDLC implementation
.
