Data Engineer (GCP)

Experience: 5 +Years

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support a financial analytics modernization project. The role involves designing scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring data quality for large-scale financial datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build scalable data pipelines on GCP.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries in BigQuery.
Work with GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
Develop and implement data governance, quality, and security best practices across all pipelines to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Support migration from legacy systems to cloud-based BI tools.

Key Skills:

Strong experience with SQL and BigQuery, including advanced querying and optimization techniques for large datasets.
Expertise in GCP services such as BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation.
Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics architectures
