You will be joining a precision engineering company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, that specializes in pharmaceutical change parts. As an experienced CNC Programmer with strong skills in Mastercam, you will work alongside our lead programmer to manage CNC programming tasks. We are in the process of transitioning some of our workflow to Siemens NX, and you will play a crucial role in this transition as well as in streamlining our operations as we enhance our CAM capabilities. Your responsibilities will include programming CNC jobs using Mastercam for mill and 4-axis machines, interpreting 2D/3D CAD models and engineering drawings, generating toolpaths, validating G-codes, and optimizing operations for VMC and 4-axis machines. Effective communication with machinists and shop floor personnel will be essential to ensure smooth execution. You will also focus on reducing cycle times, setup times, and improving machining efficiency, while managing and organizing CAM files for repeatability and future use. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Mastercam programming, a good understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and speed/feed selection. Experience in 4-axis programming is required, and knowledge of 5-axis programming is an added advantage. Familiarity with Siemens NX will be considered a plus, along with exposure to high mix, low volume production environments. The ability to coordinate effectively with designers and machinists is crucial for success in this role. The machines you will be programming for include BFW Agni++ and Agni+ (including 4-axis), HAAS VF-2YT and TM-1P (4-axis), as well as surface and special purpose machines on occasion. Bonus skills such as NX CAD/CAM usage, exposure to ERP or production tracking systems, and a background in pharmaceutical parts manufacturing would be beneficial. The compensation for this position ranges from 40,000 to 60,000 per month, with negotiability based on experience.,
