The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This role involves supervising and mentoring production staff, managing schedules, troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with company protocols, and fostering continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Supervise and manage production staff to optimize performance and maintain morale. Plan, assign, and monitor production schedules to meet customer demands and organizational goals. Oversee workflow and allocate resources for efficient task execution and minimize downtime. Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards Ensure adherence to quality control measures throughout the production process, addressing deviations proactively. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to achieve productivity targets. Train and mentor staff on equipment use, work procedures, and company policies. Prepare and submit production reports, KPI metrics, and progress updates to management. Coordinate maintenance and repairs with maintenance teams for optimal equipment performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for operational efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or similar methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality. Discipline, coach, and develop production staff in line with company policies. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field (preferred) 2–5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and lean principles. Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements. Knowledge of workplace safety requirements. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Manali, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Supervising: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
