The Factory HR Manager will oversee the human resources functions within the facility, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. The role will involve daily tasks such as managing payroll, addressing employee grievances, coordinating training programs, and implementing HR policies and procedures. The manager will also work closely with other department heads to support the overall HR needs of the facility. Qualifications Experience in hiring, onboarding, and employee relations for Factory operations Knowledge of labor laws, wage regulations, safety standards, and employment policies 5-7 year of experience Skills in payroll management and addressing employee grievances Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Experience in the manufacturing or recycling industry is a plus Ability to speak English and Tamil. Role Description Plant Manager – Shredding Operations | KRP Location : Gummidipoondi, Chennai About the Role: To manage and control the complete shredding line operations — from tyre intake to production of steel-free chips, ensuring high uptime, quality feedstock for pyrolysis, machine health, and safe working conditions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Production Control Manage daily tyre shredding activities (Primary Shredder → Rasper → Output) Monitor throughput (MT/day) and ensure continuity of operations Verify output material meets size and steel-removal specifications 2. Machine Monitoring & Maintenance Ensure regular blade inspections, changeovers, and belt tensioning Coordinate with in-house or external maintenance team for planned maintenance Maintain daily machine log sheets (vibrations, power load, runtime) 3. Manpower Planning Deploy operators and helpers in shifts with clear task assignments Ensure all staff follow start-up, shut-down, and emergency SOPs Provide on-the-job training to new operators 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure PPE compliance (ear protection, gloves, eye shields, safety boots) Conduct daily safety checks around moving parts, oil leaks, and trip points Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe behaviors immediately 5. Input Material Handling Supervise unloading and inspection of incoming tyres Ensure optimal feeding rate and prevent overloading of the shredder Coordinate with stores/inventory for tyre input logs 6. Qualification: Essential: B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical, Mechanical, Petrochemical, or Environmental Engineering Preferred: Training in hazardous operations, DCS systems, or CPCB/TNPCB compliance Experience: 5+ years of plant operations experience in chemical processing, pyrolysis, or refinery/oil recovery plants Hands-on experience managing continuous pyrolysis machines or continues operations in other industries and shift operations Key Responsibilities: 1. Safety & Environmental Compliance Enforce EHS protocols (PPE, fire control systems, hot work permits) Maintain records required by TNPCB/CPCB: stack emissions, effluent logs, waste manifests Monitor gas leaks, flare systems, and reactor seals to prevent incidents 5. Product Quality Assurance Work with Production & Quality In-Charge to ensure TPO flash point, viscosity, and carbon fineness are within acceptable limits Implement process changes based on lab results or customer feedback Maintain traceability of production batches 6. Inventory & Material Coordination Coordinate with shredding unit for feedstock flow (steel-free chips) Manage storage of TPO and carbon, ensure timely transfer to dispatch Ensure accurate tank measurement, weighing, and loading logs 7. Reporting & Documentation Submit daily production and machine logs to Operations Head Maintain maintenance history, operator attendance, and safety audits Record TPO & carbon yield vs. input ratio per batch or per shift 8.
