The ideal candidate for the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector position at our company should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with a focus on instruments in the oil and gas industry. With a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in pipeline projects and construction, you should be well-versed in glanding, commissioning, inspection, and verification of motors and transformers. The job location for this role is in Haldia, West Bengal, and we are seeking candidates who are willing to relocate. As an E&I Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality, safety, and compliance of electrical installations, specifically focusing on motors, transformers, and hazardous EX atmospheres. You should have a deep understanding of industry standards, safety protocols, and a proven track record of successful field experience. Some of the key responsibilities include conducting thorough inspections of motors and transformers, verifying proper connections and insulation, applying specialized knowledge of hazardous EX atmospheres, overseeing commissioning processes, implementing quality control measures, enforcing safety compliance, maintaining detailed documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
