Responsibilities of the Technical Head: 1. Human Management - Lead & mentor the team of Pattern Makers, Quality controllers and Technicians who manage the Sampling operations. 2. Creating the right Process flow & SOPs for the Sampling division. 3. Technical Guidance - Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sampling team, including pattern makers, cutters, sewers, and quality control personnel, to resolve technical issues. 4. New Product Development - Collaborate with design and development teams to translate design concepts into feasible garment prototypes, providing guidance to them on the construction techniques. 5. Quality Assurance - Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure that finished garments meet quality standards, including fit, construction and aesthetic appeal. Thus reducing the cost of rework / remake in the sampling division. 6. Knowledge transfer to the bulk production teams - Facilitate knowledge transfer to bulk production teams by establishing effective handover procedures from the sampling phase to bulk production teams including detailed risk-analysis protocols. 7. Process Improvement - Continuously analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, such as streamlining operations, reducing waste, and optimizing resource utilization, and implement corrective measures as needed with the help of the Industrial Engineer. Desired Candidate Profile 16-25 years of experience in garment technology or related field (apparel industry). Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes from yarn spinning to final product assembly. Proficiency in various textile techniques such as weaving, dyeing, printing etc. . Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job position objective: Ensure that all garments received for Fit analysis have measurements according to the Manual of Coppel measurements that guarantee to satisfy the comfort and appearance of the articles when dressed by our Coppel market. Role & responsibilities Strategic: Question and control the Fit analysis of the garments selected in Planning.Update measurement formats for Suppliers. Participate in guide courses on Fit processes for Suppliers. Administrative Manage the business in the absence of the Manager, making decisions on their behalf as required. Aids in developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives. Fill out the Measurement Form correctly. Authorize the Fit of the samples. Request directory updates from buyers at the beginning of each season. Follow up via email on SKUs in the fit and missing process. Generate lists of missing items at the end of the period. Development advice to strategic suppliers, with areas of opportunity. Check your email to respond to help requests on timeCorrectly use all the formats of the Manual "MC Compras Ropa". Maintain and fill out the Fits and Master's log on a daily basis. Generate a list of SKUs to review during quality inspections at CeDis. Maintain constant and effective communication with the Trends, Quality and Purchasing departments. Keep updated of all changes that might exist of the Coppel Measurement Manual from Mexico Office. Maintain communication with purchasing team in cases of extensions and/or cancellations. Reception all samples and deliver to the suppliers when is requested. Create book of registration and follow up of all the samples received and under process. Set the request of the fit models whenever is needed for fit sessions. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in fashion, technical design, or a related field. 5+ years experience for senior roles or with international brands. . Knowledge and experience with patternmaking with ability to justify design changes. Deadline-driven and committed to quality.
