Role & responsibilities Sample Control: Should be able to know how to measure the garment and check other aspects of a garment from a quality perspective. Assist with fit comments & note taking, update specs, send specifications and comments to suppliers and liaise with suppliers with technical issues. Assist in Creating initial Tech Packs in conjunction with Head technician for product development and help maintain tech packs at every stage Sample development: Should be able to support designers and sampling merchants in developing samples. Should have technical knowledge gained preferably within fast paced commercial or private brand environment. Preferred candidate profile Have the ability to work alone as well as in a team. Be able to work under tight deadlines and cope with pressure specially in a startup atmosphere. Have a keen interest and understanding of activewear in line with trends and market demands. Flexible approach to be able to adjust to the constantly changing needs of the business. Ability to convey technical information clearly in laymans terms. Exceptional eye for technical detail to consistently ensure the correct documentation is used and followed. Applied technical knowledge of fabrics and threads. Highly organised with good prioritisation skills. Confident and clear communication skills; both verbal and written to work productively alongside other Product teams and external suppliers. Minimum 7-10 years of experience overall,
