Position Overview

As a Garment Sampler/Designer, you will play a central role in developing seasonal sampling collections aligned with European fashion sensibilities. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and utilize advanced CAD/software tools to bring creative garment ideas to life.

Key Responsibilities

• Create seasonal sampling collections by incorporating current colors, silhouettes, fabrics, and finishes inspired by European fashion trends.
• Design and develop creative, technically feasible Western garment samples in a variety of fabrics and embroidery techniques.
• Prepare and execute pattern developments using Richpeace CAD for pattern making and design placement.
• Collaborate with embroidery, pattern, and production teams to convert design concepts into finalized samples.
• Prepare detailed technical packs and visual presentations using fashion design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, or CorelDRAW.
• Oversee sampling, conduct fit trials, and ensure superior quality in garment finishes and embellishments.
• Assess and select textiles/fabrics, ensuring quality and suitability for each style.
• Stay up-to-date with trends, materials, and innovations relevant to Western and kidswear markets.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in fashion designing and sampling—preferably in Western and kidswear garments.
• In-depth knowledge of textiles, fabric quality, European trends, and seasonal colors.
• Strong skills in print design, embroidery, and pattern development for garments.
• Hands-on experience with Richpeace CAD software for pattern making and design application is essential.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, or CorelDRAW.
• Ability to manage end-to-end sample development, fit trials, and embellishments.
• Excellent communication, creativity, and collaboration skills.

Work Details

• Location: MMGROUPFASHION, CR Avenue, Kolkata
• Working Time: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday
• Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and expertise
