Job Description We are looking for a passionate and skilled Telugu-speaking Carnatic Vocal and Telugu Film music Teacher to join Gandharva School of Music , an international platform for online performing arts education. If you have a deep understanding of Carnatic music traditions and a flair for teaching, we invite you to become a part of our esteemed faculty. Key Responsibilities Conduct live 1:1 and group online Carnatic vocal classes for students across different age groups and skill levels. Develop structured lesson plans aligned with Gandharva’s curriculum and student progress. Teach core aspects of Carnatic music including swara, raga alapana, kritis, varnams, geethams, and manodharma sangeetham . Train students in voice culture, shruti alignment, laya precision, and improvisational techniques. Guide and prepare students for certification exams (ABGMVM, etc.), competitions, and stage performances. Provide personalized feedback, motivate learners, and mentor them throughout their musical journey. Maintain an engaging, professional, and interactive online classroom environment . Eligibility Criteria Minimum qualification: Visharad/Equivalent degree/diploma in Carnatic Music from a reputed institution (ABGMVM or equivalent). Minimum 3 years of proven teaching experience in Carnatic music. Strong command over ragas, talas, kritis, varnams, alapana, neraval, kalpana swaras, and pallavi singing . Proficiency in Telugu (native or fluent), with working knowledge of English/Hindi for communication with diverse students.
