About The Role As the Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing digital experiences tailored for insurance agents. Your focus will be on ensuring that our tools are intuitive, engaging, and supportive of their daily tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in UX/UI design, have experience with agent-facing products, and excel at creating designs that enhance productivity and user satisfaction. **Duties And Responsibilities** - **Gamified Design Implementation**: Develop and incorporate gamification elements into insurance tools and agent platforms to enhance engagement, productivity, and learning. - **Prototyping & Interactive Design**: Design wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes that showcase game-like elements in professional tools. - **User-Centric Research**: Conduct research with insurance agents to comprehend their workflows, motivations, and challenges, applying gaming principles to improve usability and user engagement. - **Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm and integrate game mechanics and design elements that enhance agent interactions. - **Feedback Loop**: Engage in design reviews and workshops, providing and receiving constructive feedback. Utilize feedback to refine designs and ensure they meet user needs and business objectives. - **Visual Appeal**: Ensure all UI components and game elements align with the brand's visual guidelines while maintaining a balance between professional and engaging aesthetics. - **Gamification Strategy**: Aid in developing strategies to implement game-based elements like points, rewards, leaderboards, and progress tracking into agent-facing tools. - **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive design documentation outlining game-based feature specifications and implementation guidelines. - **Adaptation & Iteration**: Quickly iterate on design solutions based on agent feedback and performance data to optimize usability and engagement. **Qualifications And Skills** - **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer with a specific focus on incorporating gaming or gamification elements into digital products. - **Portfolio**: A robust portfolio demonstrating the use of game mechanics, visual storytelling, and user engagement strategies in digital tools, particularly within professional or business settings. - **Technical Skills**: - - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc. - - Experience with prototyping tools like InVision, Adobe XD, or similar for interactive, game-like designs. - - Familiarity with game development tools (Unity, Unreal Engine) is a plus but not mandatory. - **Understanding of Gamification**: Demonstrated knowledge of how game mechanics can drive engagement and enhance user experiences in non-gaming applications. - **Problem Solving & Creativity**: Ability to think creatively to introduce new gamification strategies that resonate with insurance agents and address user pain points. - **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present gamified design concepts to stakeholders. - **User Research Skills**: Experience in conducting user research, testing, and analysis to inform and iterate on gamified designs. - **Collaboration**: Proficiency in working seamlessly with cross-functional teams and adjusting designs based on project feedback and objectives. - **Adaptability**: Comfortable working on multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities while maintaining high-quality work. - **Experience in designing for industries that utilize gamified learning or user engagement, such as education or corporate training. - **Familiarity with motivational theories and psychological principles related to gaming and user engagement.
