As a Scientist at Quantumzyme in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, you will be responsible for leading a team to achieve project goals and successfully manage both industrial and academic projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and mentoring a team to ensure project success. - Developing and executing creative project plans, proactively troubleshooting experimental issues. - Applying in-depth knowledge in Molecular Modelling, Docking, Molecular Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Molecular Dynamics Simulation, and QM/MM Simulations. - Understanding protein structure, function, dynamics, and engineering. - Proficiency in Fortran, C, C++, Perl, and Python. - Teaching and training team members in relevant scientific and technical areas. - Writing and publishing scientific articles in high-impact journals. - Explaining and improving algorithms for better research outcomes. - Fostering a strong team spirit and commitment to team success. - Working independently with minimal supervision. - Exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Qualifications required for this position include a PhD in Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, or Bioinformatics with 0.6 to 4 years of relevant experience. Additional skills desired include experience with Gromacs, CP2K, GAMESS, AutoDock, and Modeller.
