Responsibilities Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs (REST/GraphQL) to power mobile and web applications. Design, build, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) ensuring high availability and performance. Implement real-time features including chat, notifications, and live tracking using WebSockets/Firebase/Pub/Sub. Integrate AI/ML models (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, HuggingFace, or API-based) into production applications. Ensure app and server security, authentication, encryption, and compliance with best practices. Manage and deploy applications across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Firebase, DigitalOcean) with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and monitoring. Collaborate closely with frontend/mobile developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features. Lead technical documentation and define architectural strategies, system components, and implementation roadmaps. Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting coding best practices, code reviews, and agile workflows (Scrum/JIRA/Trello). Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across web applications, APIs, and server infrastructure. Requirements 4+ years of experience in backend development and system architecture. Strong expertise in Node.js (TypeScript) and Python (FastAPI/Django). Hands-on experience with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis. Knowledge of real-time APIs (WebSockets, Firebase, Pub/Sub). Proven experience in AI/ML model integration (TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, HuggingFace, or via APIs). Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Firebase, Azure) and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, server monitoring). Strong grasp of security best practices, authentication, and system scalability. Ability to lead teams, document architecture, and align engineering with business needs. Good to Have Experience in microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing. Exposure to payment gateways, real-time analytics, or large-scale gaming apps.
