As a Spine Animator at Ruby Sevens, your main role will involve creating high-quality 2D animations and special effects for slot games, bonus rounds, in-game events, and interactive features. You will collaborate closely with artists, UI/UX designers, and developers to ensure that animations enhance gameplay and align with Ruby Sevens" unique visual style. Key Responsibilities: - Design and animate reels, symbols, characters, and bonus features for slot and social casino games. - Rig characters, props, and UI elements to facilitate efficient and reusable animation workflows. - Collaborate with concept artists and game designers to develop visually compelling transitions, win celebrations, and special effects. - Implement animations into the game engine, optimizing timing, polish, and performance for mobile and web platforms. - Work with developers to troubleshoot and enhance in-game animations. - Maintain consistency in style, pacing, and quality across various game titles. - Iterate quickly based on internal feedback and player testing results. Required Qualifications: - Proven professional experience in 2D animation for games, particularly in slots, casino, or casual mobile titles. - Strong portfolio showcasing SPINE animation and rigging skills. - Solid grasp of animation principles such as timing, easing, anticipation, and follow-through. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
