Galva Engineer

You will be working as a Galvanizing Engineer at Hi-Tech Radiators Pvt. Ltd., a renowned manufacturer and supplier of galvanised radiators and corrugated tanks to the global transformer industry. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the hot-dip galvanizing processes, ensuring that coating thickness, surface preparation, bath composition, and quality standards (IS/ASTM) are met consistently. Your key responsibilities will include managing day-to-day galvanizing operations such as degreasing, pickling, fluxing, and zinc dipping. It will be crucial to monitor bath temperature, composition, and dross levels to maintain quality standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring that zinc coating thickness and surface finish align with required specifications. Collaborating with production, maintenance, and QA teams to enhance productivity and minimize rework will be an essential part of your role. Additionally, conducting root cause analysis for defects like black spots, blisters, and uneven coating will be within your scope of work. Compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards will be a top priority, along with maintaining production records, batch reports, and optimizing costs. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Chemical, or a relevant field. A minimum of 3-8 years of experience in a hot-dip galvanizing plant is required. You must possess a deep understanding of zinc bath management, surface preparation, and post-treatment. Familiarity with quality standards such as IS 4759, ASTM A123, and ISO 1461 is essential. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings is necessary for this role. Knowledge of safety protocols and experience with ETP coordination will be considered advantageous.,
