Role Description The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring the efficient, high-quality, and safe production of Lead and PPCP products. This includes managing teams, optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across all production lines. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end production processes for Lead Oxides, Lead Alloys, and reprocessed PPCP granules. Supervise shift operations, plant machinery, and workforce across the manufacturing unit. Ensure strict adherence to quality control measures using in-house labs, OES, ICP-MS, and other equipment. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies. Oversee the integration of new equipment including BBSU and Barton/Red Lead plants. Optimize production scheduling and inventory control to meet monthly targets. Lead automation initiatives to reduce human intervention and improve output consistency. Monitor environmental and safety standards, in line with company’s sustainability goals. Coordinate with R&D and QC teams to innovate and troubleshoot production challenges. Manage vendor relations for machinery, raw materials, and technical services. Qualifications and Skills B.Tech / M.Tech in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields. 8+ years of experience in manufacturing/recycling of lead and plastics. Proven track record in managing large-scale production with automated systems. Strong knowledge of ISO standards, EHS compliance, and quality protocols. Experience in handling high-capacity furnaces, rotary kilns, and plastic extruders is a plus.
