The Web Developer will be responsible for building and maintaining responsive, secure, and scalable websites and web applications to support the company’s operational and business needs. The role requires a strong understanding of modern web technologies and the ability to translate business requirements into functional and efficient solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of back-end and front-end systems, while maintaining a high standard of code quality and user experience. This position demands problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Primary Responsibilities: • Develop, test, and deploy secure, scalable, and high-performing web applications. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements. • Design and implement user-friendly interfaces with responsive layouts. • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engine visibility. • Ensure compatibility across browsers and devices. • Maintain and upgrade existing systems, fixing bugs and enhancing functionality. • Implement data security best practices to protect sensitive information. • Write clean, well-structured, and documented code. • Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies. Primary Skills: • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. • Strong back-end development experience with languages like PHP, Python, or Node.js. • Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB. • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. • Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • Relevant certifications in web technologies are an added advantage. Experience: • 2–5 years of professional experience in web development with a proven track record of delivering projects.
