Job Description: Service Engineer Location: Coimbatore, with travel to Chennai, Bangalore, Hosur, and Pondicherry Job summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Service Engineer to manage our key client relationships in the South region. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, along with foundational electrical knowledge. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and salesmanship, focusing on both after-sales support and business development to expand our presence with major customers like LGB and LMW. Key Responsibilities Technical service Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, including troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability. Provide timely and effective technical support to customers, addressing their concerns and providing clear solutions. Document all service activities, including maintenance reports, repair logs, and technical feedback. Customer engagement Engage with clients to gather feedback and provide market insights to the internal team for product improvement. Maintain professionalism and a customer-focused attitude in all interactions. Act as a brand ambassador, positively representing the company's image and values to clients. Required qualifications and skills Education Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field. Experience 3–4 years of proven experience in a service, field service, or technical sales role. Hands-on work experience in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical maintenance and repair is essential. Previous experience working with customers like LGB and LMW is highly advantageous. Language proficiency Fluent in Tamil. Working knowledge of Hindi and English. Technical skills Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for technical issues. Familiarity with interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
