Handle workplace safety issues, grievances, and confidential HR matters. Process employee visiting cards, letters (offer, appointment, confirmation), and onboarding formalities. Support employee induction, probation monitoring, and performance review processes. Statutory Compliance Handle PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliance on a monthly basis. Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations . Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Post jobs on portals (Naukri, Apna Jobs, Indeed, Shine, Placement India, etc.). Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers. Manage salary negotiations, job offers, and employment contracts. Follow up with new hires post-joining to ensure smooth integration. Other Responsibilities Support data entry for inward/outward challans and annexures. Take up ad-hoc assignments when required. The role involves managing production activities, conducting in-process and final inspections, and ensuring strict adherence to quality standards as per job cards and engineering drawings. Key Responsibilities Distribute job work as per guidelines from the Production Head. Set up the process line according to job cards and drawings. Inspect components and assemblies during different stages of machining and assembly. Verify roller dimensions: OD, length, bore, shaft assembly, shrink fitting tolerances, etc. Conduct checks for machining, centering, finishing, run-out, keyways, threading, circlip grooves, drilling & tapping as per drawing. Perform grinding and finishing inspections to ensure smooth surface (no vibration, tool marks, or chatter). Ensure proper packing, handling, and storage of finished rollers as per company instructions. Maintain and submit inspection reports at every stage (before/after grinding, chrome plating, rubber coating, etc.). Assist during third-party inspections and ensure drawings/instruments are ready. Ensure any rework is identified, corrected promptly, and reported. Maintain production and inspection records, and submit reports to the Quality Head. Adhere to safety, quality, and production standards at all times. Required Skills & Competencies Diploma / ITI / BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering. 2 - 5 years of experience in production + quality inspection (preferably in roller/precision machining industry). Strong knowledge of machining, grinding, and assembly inspection. Proficient in using measuring instruments (micrometer, vernier, bore gauge, run-out gauge, etc.). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & GD&T . Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in shift operations.
