Job Title: Parts & Process Qualification Specialist Location: Bangalore Experience: 10+ years (Degree) / 14+ years (Diploma) Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical (GTTC/NTTF) Key Responsibilities: Qualify parts (stamping, molding, machining) and processes (assembly, test benches, manufacturing lines) in Innovation & Maintenance projects. Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and training while ensuring gap identification and resolution. Develop strong manufacturability and measurability studies at the development stage. Ensure product and process qualifications adhere to PPEP standards. Implement FMEA, Poka-Yoke, MQP, and SPC methodologies for quality assurance. Conduct pilot runs, root cause analysis, and ensure corrective & preventive actions. Prepare qualification reports, analyze performance data, and support continuous improvement. Skills & Knowledge: Expertise in Quality Systems (GD&T, DOE, G8D, PFMEA, Lean Manufacturing, DMAIC). Proficiency in Minitab, SPC, and metrology instruments (CMM, Smart Scope, Vernier, etc.). Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills. Excellent communication and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to travel; Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
