The Voice Client team plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality voice call capabilities, ensuring seamless connectivity, crystal-clear audio, and exceptional reliability to enhance customer engagement globally. As a Telecom Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our client's global voice infrastructure. Responsibilities include collaborating with customer telecom and IT teams, building and maintaining SIP Trunk connectivity, providing operational support for the telecom network, and serving as an escalation point for critical alerts. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in VoIP/SIP technologies, Ribbon (Sonus) SBCs, and hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex network issues. Qualifications for the role include 2+ years of hands-on experience with Ribbon PCX or SBC, solid knowledge of SIP, experience in telecom troubleshooting, and strong communication skills. Additional qualifications such as WebRTC and TLS knowledge are a plus. Desired qualifications encompass experience with international routing, knowledge of VoIP protocols and codecs, familiarity with network security, hands-on experience with AudioCodes SBCs, and a background in designing high-availability telecom environments.
