As a lead developer in the eFX trading technology team at State Street Global Markets, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, supporting, and maintaining electronic trading platforms. You will be part of a dynamic global team that is passionate about delivering innovative trading solutions for institutional clients. The eFX team is dedicated to providing comprehensive trading solutions, and as a lead developer, you will be expected to possess strong technical expertise in building e-Trading solutions in FX/Equity using distributed node architecture. Your responsibilities will include working closely with Product owners, utilizing current technologies, and implementing full life-cycle, full stack development tasks. You will be responsible for the ongoing evolution of State Street's industry-leading foreign exchange trading platforms and supporting services. The role also involves supporting (L3/L4 support) due to the criticality of the business. To excel in this role, you must have a full stack mentality, be proficient in writing High Performance/Low Latency code, possess good problem-solving skills, and have the ability to operate under pressure. It is essential to have expertise in server-side Java, message brokers, FIX/Binary API protocols, Oracle SQL, PL-SQL, and CI/CD technologies. Additionally, experience with Scrum, Agile modeling, and adaptive software development is highly beneficial. As a lead developer, you should demonstrate the ability to lead a small team of agile developers, architect/design/develop with minimal requirements, and coordinate activities between various stakeholders effectively. Your educational background should include a minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field, along with about 15+ years of industry experience.
