Your job description is as follows: **Role Overview:** CURA HOME is seeking Furniture Designers to join their team in Cherthala, Kerala. As a Furniture Designer for custom projects, you will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, converting design concepts into accurate 2D and 3D drawings, coordinating with manufacturing teams, selecting materials and finishes, maintaining design files, and collaborating with the lead designer for timely project execution. Additionally, you may assist in developing new product concepts for the company's in-house collection. **Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare detailed shop drawings and technical documentation for custom furniture orders. - Convert design concepts into accurate 2D and 3D drawings ready for production. - Coordinate with factory and CNC teams to ensure manufacturing feasibility. - Select suitable materials, hardware, finishes, and joinery techniques. - Maintain version control of design files and ensure clarity across all technical drawings. - Collaborate with the lead designer and production controller for timely project delivery. - Occasionally assist in developing new product concepts for CURA HOME's collection. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or Mechanical Engineering. - Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, or SolidWorks (Rhino preferred). - Understanding of furniture construction, joinery, and manufacturing processes. - Keen eye for detail, accuracy, and practical design implementation. - Ability to interpret architectural drawings and client briefs effectively. - Prior experience in custom furniture or interior fit-out drawings is an advantage.
