Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager - Growth to own and significantly improve user activation for Paytm Money. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the entire activation leg of the user funnel, from the moment a user signs up to the point they become an active investor. You will define the vision, strategy, and execution plan to drive substantial growth in our active user base. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, product understanding, and exceptional execution skills. Key Responsibilities: Own Activation Metrics: Take complete ownership of the user activation metric. Define, track, and report on daily/weekly/monthly activation numbers and key performance indicators (KPIs). Develop Activation Vision & Strategy: Develop a clear vision and a comprehensive strategy to significantly uplift user activation rates. Identify key friction points and opportunities within the activation funnel. Data-Driven Insights & Experimentation: Continuously analyze user behavior data to generate actionable insights. Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to optimize activation flows, communication, and user journeys. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Product Partnership: Work closely with the product team to define the product roadmap and features that enhance user activation. Translate activation strategies into clear product requirements. Stakeholder Management: Liaise with various internal stakeholders (Marketing, Data Science, Engineering, Design, Business Heads) to align on activation goals and drive initiatives. Communication & Design Strategy: Develop and own the communication strategy (in-app messages, push notifications, emails, SMS) and work with design teams to create compelling user experiences that guide users towards activation. Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy: Leverage your understanding of GTM strategies to effectively launch new activation-focused features and campaigns. Funnel Optimization: Deeply understand the user journey and identify drop-off points. Implement strategies to improve conversion at each step of the activation funnel. Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on activation performance to senior leadership, highlighting trends, insights, and the impact of various initiatives. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Product Marketing, Growth, or Product Management role, specifically within the consumer app domain . Funnel Management: Proven track record of owning and improving a key metric in a user funnel, with a strong preference for experience in user activation or onboarding. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics, SQL) to derive insights and make data-driven decisions. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop a long-term vision for user activation while being able to break it down into actionable short-term plans. Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Execution Excellence: A hands-on approach with a strong bias for action and a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. GTM Understanding: Solid understanding of Go-To-Market strategies and campaign execution. Preferred Qualifications: Stock Broking/Fintech Background: Experience in the stock broking, wealth management, or broader fintech industry is a significant plus.
