Fundamental Research Analyst

As a Research Analyst at Taurus Mutual Fund, your role will involve conducting in-depth research in equity markets, financial analysis, and investment opportunities. Your responsibilities will include: - Having 0-2 years of work experience in equity research and investment analysis, preferably in sell side or portfolio advisory roles. Candidates with buy side experience in Asset Management Company will be preferred. - Demonstrating strong analytical skills to provide actionable investment insights through independent research using both bottom-up and top-down approaches. Generating sectoral, macroeconomic, and company-specific reports will be a key part of your role. - Possessing a technical skillset that includes a deep understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques (such as DCF and comparables), financial modeling, and proficiency in tools like Excel, Bloomberg, Reuters, Capital IQ, or similar. Familiarity with industry-specific metrics and economic indicators is also required. - Having a proven track record of accurate forecasts, high-conviction calls, and meaningful contributions to portfolio returns.
