As an experienced Oracle developer with 8-12 years of experience, you should be proficient in Oracle database, PL/SQL, Database concepts, Procedures, Functions, Jobs, Views, Scripting, Triggers, Joins, and packages. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing Oracle database structures, writing high-quality SQL and PL/SQL code, and developing and maintaining Oracle-based applications. You will also be expected to diagnose and remediate SQL performance issues and collaborate with customers to ensure software quality and functionality meet standards. To excel in this role, it is essential to apply SDLC principles and methodologies such as Lean/Agile/XP, CI, software and product security, scalability, and testing techniques. Additionally, you will be required to build features like web services and Queries on existing tables. While not mandatory, it would be beneficial to have a good understanding of the power system or electrical domain and familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban. The ideal candidate should hold a B.E/B.Tech or equivalent qualification and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
