Functional QE

As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing functional test plans based on business requirements and technical specifications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams is crucial to ensure end-to-end quality across the software development lifecycle. You will be performing manual and automated testing of UI and APIs using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Postman. Developing and maintaining test cases, test scripts, and test data is also a key part of your role. Conducting regression, integration, and system testing to identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps is essential. Your participation in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, will be expected. Ensuring compliance with TDD/BDD methodologies and contributing to automation frameworks will be part of your responsibilities. A successful candidate for this role should have at least 6 years of hands-on experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing. You should possess strong experience in functional testing of enterprise applications and proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber. A solid understanding of QA methodologies, Agile frameworks, and SDLC is required. Experience with API testing and scripting using languages such as Java and Python is preferred. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git is also beneficial. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills will help you excel in this role.,
