As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding the requirements quickly, architecting and designing test strategies, providing effort estimations as inputs to SOWs using best QA practices, peer reviewing, and taking it all the way to production releases. You will collaborate closely with development engineers, stakeholders, and the build/release team to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products. Your role will involve utilizing collaborative tools such as Confluence wiki and JIRA to streamline communication and documentation. You will actively participate in problem-solving activities and provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with the business tester and ORMB product team. In addition, you will provide assistance to the ORMB solution architect in business configuration within ORMB. You will also support customers in creating Service Requests (SR) with the product team by performing proper analysis and coordinating with the product team and managed services team for release management and patch deployment. Your responsibilities will include supporting the stabilization of production billing runs, leading Parallel run executions to compare legacy system or old ORMB version results with the latest ORMB version, and leading scope, testing, and configuration discussions with customer and partner teams. Furthermore, you will be involved in planning and conducting internal trainings, as well as leading internal initiatives for creating consulting accelerators, re-usable assets, and configurations. You will work closely with the product team to explain functional gaps and provide test requirements and recommendations for product quality and testability. Your core focus areas will include Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, and Defect Reporting & Tracking.
