Functional Engineer, WM

As a SAP S/4HANA Functional Engineer focusing on Warehouse Management (WM / Stock Room) at McCain Foods India Pvt. Ltd., located in New Delhi, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA warehouse management solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with various stakeholders, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements, configure SAP WM modules, and ensure seamless system integration for successful deployment of warehousing solutions. In addition to SAP warehouse management, you will also be involved in developing, integrating, and supporting non-SAP warehouses (such as Manhattan) and inventory labeling applications (CoLOS / Markem-Image) to strengthen the overall supply chain. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, configuring, and implementing SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management or Extended Warehouse Management solutions, as well as non-SAP (Manhattan) systems. - Customizing system settings, storage bins, warehouse structures, and inventory control parameters. - Defining and executing warehouse processes to support various operations like inbound/outbound logistics, picking, packing, quality control, labeling, and more. - Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient SAP/non-SAP warehousing solutions. - Integrating SAP WM with other modules like MM, SD, and PP, and ensuring proper integration with external systems like automation, barcode scanning, and RFID technologies. - Conducting testing, troubleshooting issues, providing end-user training and support, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in SAP WM/EWM implementation and support. Strong technical skills in SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management, ABAP debugging, and experience with RF scanning and logistics execution are essential. Moreover, excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are crucial for success in this position. Preferred certifications include SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4HANA for Warehouse Management and SAP EWM Certification. Additionally, physical requirements may include occasional travel to warehouse locations.
