Functional Architect - FP&A & R2R

As a Data Architect at ABB, you play a crucial role in transforming financial processes through the power of data and technology. Your main responsibilities include: - Translating complex data into meaningful insights, guiding delivery teams and stakeholders. - Designing intuitive, user-centric dashboards and reports using best practices in visualization. - Partnering with business process owners to define and enhance data collection and analysis. - Maintaining and evolving functional designs in response to changing business needs. - Co-creating integrated SAP SAC & BW solutions with cross-functional teams. - Continuously improving analytics solutions through stakeholder feedback and agile delivery. - Ensuring high-quality service and stakeholder engagement across the organization. - Supporting data reconciliation efforts, root cause analysis, and resolution. - Training and empowering business users on data tools and dashboards. Qualifications required for this role: - Masters degree in finance, Computer Science, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in FP&A or R2R within a multinational environment, with an emphasis on analytics and cloud-based data modeling. - Solid understanding of accounting principles, including US and local GAAP, and experience with a unified chart of accounts. - Familiarity with agile IT delivery models and cross-functional collaboration. - Exposure to SAP ERP & BW is required, non-SAP analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake) is a plus. - An aptitude for overcoming obstacles and an enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge. - Proficient in communication and collaboration.
