Fullstack Mobile Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Realm DB schema upgrades and migration strategies for mobile

applications.

• Work closely with iOS and Android teams to ensure seamless integration of updated

Realm versions.

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic using Node.js

(JavaScript/TypeScript).

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS and Android mobile applications (Native or hybrid

such as React Native/Flutter).

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile app data storage, Realm sync, and

backward compatibility.

• Optimise mobile app performance, offline storage, and API integrations.

• Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-

quality features.

• Conduct code reviews, identify technical risks, and propose solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, planning, retrospectives).

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in Node.js backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Realm Database, including:
• Schema updates & migrations

• Handling data integrity and version upgrades
• Troubleshooting Realm-related issues
• Solid experience in mobile app development for both iOS and Android, using one of the following:
• React Native
• Native Android (Kotlin/Java)
• Native iOS (Swift/Objective-C)
• Flutter
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, local storage, offline-first patterns, and API

integration.

• Experience consuming and building RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills on both backend and mobile

apps.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with App Store / Play Store release processes.
• Familiarity with GraphQL or microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with automated testing for mobile or backend services.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
