Fullstack API Integration Engineer

You will be joining an engineering consultancy that focuses on bridging Quality Engineering, Cloud Platforms, and Developer Experience. This role presents a unique opportunity for you to play a pivotal role in establishing a consultancy from its inception, advocate for change, and support the transformation of organizations and problem domains. As a qualified candidate, you should possess the following qualifications, capabilities, and skills: - Demonstrated expertise of 6+ years in software development lifecycle, spanning from conceptualization to implementation. - Proficiency in requirements gathering for APIs and subsequent conversion into API design and implementation. - Experience in implementing various types of API proxies, validations using schemas, enhancing API performance, and ensuring API maintenance. - Familiarity with Swagger and hands-on experience in implementing JWT token-based authentication. - Proficient in developing REST APIs and skilled in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. - Strong SQL and relational database skills with a background in data analysis. - Proficiency in GIT / Bitbucket and experience in integrating APIs with developers and external consumers. - Exposure to modern engineering practices like Unit Test-Driven Development, Acceptance Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration. - Familiarity with Agile development lifecycle methodology. - Comfortable navigating through ambiguity and adapting to a rapidly changing environment. Capable of leading and driving projects to completion. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels within the organization. Desirable qualifications, capabilities, and skills include: - Experience working with GraphQL. - Familiarity with MongoDB or other NOSQL databases. - Exposure to streaming solutions like Kafka. - Experience with AWS.
