Full-Stack Developer
(x1 based in MDH or remote)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer with TypeScript expertise to join our team in-house at our ashram in Muddenahalli or remotely. This role combines technical development skills with modern web architecture sensibilities to maintain, enhance, and expand our web application ecosystem.Key Responsibilities

• Implement urgent updates and modifications to existing web applications as needed
• Develop new web applications from scratch using React/Next.js and BaaS solutions
• Provide expert guidance on application architecture, data modeling, and security implementation
• Ensure application performance optimization across all platforms
• Apply accessibility and web standards best practices to all development work
• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders within the ashram
• Handle database design, authentication flows, and cloud function implementation
• Handle API integrations and state management implementation

Requirements

• Proven experience in full-stack web development with React/TypeScript and BaaS solutions
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
• Experience implementing authentication, database, and storage using Firebase or similar BaaS
• Experience with REST/GraphQL API integrations and state management libraries
• Experience building complete web applications from concept to deployment
• Understanding of serverless architecture and cloud functions
• Understanding of component-based architecture and design systems
• Knowledge of web application performance and security optimization techniques
• Eye for design and ability to implement brand guidelines consistently
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Willingness to work on-site at our ashram in Muddenahalli

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Chakra UI, or Material UI
• Experience with Firebase, Supabase, Amplify, or other BaaS platforms
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL database modeling and optimization
• Portfolio demonstrating both front-end and back-end capabilities
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
• Experience implementing real-time features (WebSockets, Firebase Realtime DB)
• Experience working in spiritual or non-profit organizations
