Full Stack Quality Assurance Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer at our Bengaluru, Karnataka, India location, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. With 2 to 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for contributing to all stages of the testing lifecycle, from requirement analysis and test case development to automation and exploratory testing. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will uphold the highest quality standards by leveraging your expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and various testing techniques. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze testing requirements, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of user stories and acceptance criteria. You will design, develop, and document effective test cases for both manual and automated testing, executing them, reporting bugs, and tracking defect resolution. Automation testing will be a significant part of your role, involving the development and maintenance of automation scripts using Playwright and TypeScript to enhance efficiency and coverage. Additionally, you will conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and ensure robust application behavior. In the event of issues, your strong debugging skills will be essential in effectively identifying and resolving root causes by working closely with developers. Clear communication of testing progress, results, and challenges to stakeholders will be a key aspect of your role. Collaborating on CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests using tools like Jenkins will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in automation testing tools, particularly Playwright and TypeScript, as well as a solid understanding of web and API testing methodologies. Experience in requirement gathering, test case development, and exploratory testing, along with strong debugging skills, will further enhance your performance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
