Job Description

Job Title : Fullstack Dotnet Developer
Experience Level : 5+ Years
Primary Skills (Must Have) :

- ASP.NET Core

- Entity Framework

- SQL

- Web API

- Azure Services

- IIS
Secondary Skills (Good to Have) :

- Azure Cloud

- Azure DevOps

- Unix Scripting
Optional/Preferred Experience :

- On-premise to Azure Cloud Migration

- .NET version or Framework upgrade

- Autosys
Your Expertise :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with 45 years of hands-on experience in .NET technologies and databases.

- Expertise in Microsoft .NET Framework (2.0/4.0) and .NET Core for distributed environments.

- Working knowledge of at least one modern JavaScript framework/library such as React or Angular.

- Strong understanding of .NET libraries and frameworks.

- Proficient in using version control/build tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus, Puppet, Chef, Ansible.

- Familiarity with application servers (Apache, Tomcat, IBM WebSphere) and RDBMS (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server).

- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, XP, Kanban).

- DevOps mindset with ability to manage CI/CD pipelines and software deployment.

- Exposure to monitoring and scheduling tools such as Azure Monitor, Netcool, Autosys, and ticketing tools like ServiceNow.

- Experience with tools like Confluence, Crucible, Crowd, SonarQube, and Nexus is a plus.

- Solid scripting skills : Windows batch scripts, Unix/Shell scripts.

- Good understanding of Active Directory integration with Windows servers.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.

- Ability to work and collaborate with global teams and manage stakeholders effectively.

- Flexibility to work across time zones and support migration/upgrades.
Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and .NET-based applications.

- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective application solutions.

- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Implement solutions using standard SDLC methodologies and best practices.

- Host applications on web apps or Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure.

- Write high-quality code, maintain code hygiene, and perform peer code reviews.

- Create detailed technical documentation for developed applications.

- Resolve Windows OS migration-related issues.

- Manage and maintain Jobs via Autosys or batch scripting.

- Troubleshoot issues in Windows/Unix environments.

- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Your Team :

You will be part of the Application Adoption Factory team, specializing in application migration and modernization:
Migration Approaches :

- Rehost Lift-and-shift

- Rebuild Redevelop in cloud

- Rearchitect Modify architecture for cloud

- Rewrite Recode for cloud optimization
Scope of Work :

- Migrate applications from Credit Suisse Brazil network to UBS.

- Post-migration, focus on transitioning apps from on-premises to Azure Cloud.
Global Collaboration :

Work with a globally distributed team bringing in regional insights and 24/7 support capabilities.
