Full Stack JavaScript Developer

You are a highly skilled and versatile Full Stack JavaScript Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using modern JavaScript technologies. Your role involves working across both frontend and backend components of the tech stack to ensure seamless user experiences and robust backend architecture. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining web applications using JavaScript, Node.js, Express, and React/Vue/Angular. You will design and implement RESTful APIs, integrate with third-party services, and collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers to translate requirements into functional features. Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices, participating in code reviews, testing, and deployment of applications, optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and security, troubleshooting and debugging issues across the stack, maintaining and extending existing codebases and documentation, and working with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong proficiency in JavaScript, both frontend and backend, hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks like Express or Koa, proficiency in frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular, solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles, experience with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other databases (SQL and NoSQL), familiarity with tools such as Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn, and modern build processes, experience with API design and consumption (REST, GraphQL is a plus), understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth), familiarity with Docker, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus, and good problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, knowledge of TypeScript, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
